Cantina Tollo's Cagiòlo is a red in which tradition marries innovation: deep, complex and persistent. Produced from Montepulciano grapes typical of the Abruzzese territory. An award-winning wine both in Italy and abroad.

Cagiòlo comes from Montepulciano d'Abruzzo grapes. It looks like an important and full-bodied red wine, the result of a long process in the cellar. It begins with a prolonged fermentation phase with maceration of the skins without temperature control, followed by the malolactic conversion which contributes to making it softer. Refinement lasts for no less than 24 months in 25-hectolitre Slavonian oak barrels and ends with at least another 12 months in the bottle. The wine is not filtered, to preserve style and character.

It dresses the glass in an intense ruby ​​red color with violet reflections. Aroma of ripe red fruits with notes of black cherry and blackberries which are accompanied by fine spicy hints of cocoa, vanilla, licorice and cinnamon. In the mouth it is full, with a long persistence, with sweet and velvety tannins.

Delicious to accompany red meats and mixed platters of cold cuts and cheeses.
