Gran Tiati Gold Vintage Aglianico Cantine Teanum

Gran Tiati Golden Vintage is the oenological symbol of the Apulian territory. A pure Aglianico wine, which has a soul, an identity and a clear expressiveness. However, it needs time to be fully enjoyed. He has to stay there, to rest. You need calm, patience and waiting to be able to admire, on the nose and on the palate, a great southern red wine.

The harvest of Aglianico is done manually by hand followed by a long maceration and aging.

The Gran Tiati Gold Vintage shows an intense red color, still tending to purple, almost impenetrable. On the nose, power and officinality alternate with spices, especially ginger and turmeric. The attack in the mouth is not exactly soft. Perhaps a bit edgy, it softens after a few seconds even if the tannins remain present. Along the finish, which closes in an enveloping and full way with hints of vanilla, red fruit jams, plum and cherry, but also tobacco and hints of smoked Tabasco.

Great dishes of the Apulian tradition, to be dared with a ossobuco, beef stew, grilled meats, roasts, vegetables and aged cheeses.
