Gelso Nero Nero di Troia Podere 29

Gelso Nero is a wine obtained in purity from the pressing of only the native grape variety Uva di Troia, among the oldest in the tradition of Puglia. The collection is done at
hand, in the early hours of the day to keep the temperatures of the grapes low, and to avoid the onset of fermentation. After the malolactic fermentation it is left to refine for six months in steel to favor the varietal aspect which, once in the bottle, harmonizes and blends, giving all its lively structure and its wide pleasantness.

The vinification in purity gives it an intense ruby ​​color, with violet reflections, which are expressed to the maximum in the glass and contribute to the excellent consistency of this wine. The nose is rich in essences of red fruits, figs, hints of spices such as black pepper and hints of cloves. Warm and pulpy in the mouth, strong tannins, floral finish, slightly almondy.

It goes well with grilled meats and roasts, savory first courses, cheeses and cured meats. Excellent on pappardelle with mutton sauce.
