Product Details

The Pinot Noir from the Falkestein winery is a label dedicated to those seeking refined freshness, delicate aromatic facets and who do not like power and concentration.

The grape from which this red wine derives is Pinot Noir, an international grape from France, which however is also based in South Tyrol. The harvest takes place manually in mid-September and fermentation takes place in large oak vats, with manual punching down and a period of maceration on the skins lasting 3 or 4 weeks. The wine ages in French oak barrels and tonneau for about a year, then 7 months in steel tanks and completes the refinement with a year in the bottle before leaving the cellar.

In the glass it has a beautiful bright ruby red color. The olfactory framework gives floral aromas, aromatic mountain herbs, aromas of currant, raspberry and small red berries, light spicy hints and mineral nuances of graphite. The sip is austere and linear, with a harmonious and fragrant fruit. The finish is savory and fresh, with a good gustatory persistence.

A perfect red with roasted-grilled meat, stewed red meat and game.
