Product Details

Aglianico del Vulture, Piano del Cerro, is a selection of grapes with a double sorting table in order to eliminate all the plant components deriving from the bunch. Soft crushing and destemming and vinification in wooden vats with maceration of about 25-30 days, manual fulling every 6 hours. Aging: 24 months in new barriques, where the malolactic fermentation takes place.

The color is intense red. On the nose, notes of blackberry jam and black currant are perceived, combined with spicy and balsamic notes. On the palate it is a wine of great structure and a balsamic and persistent finish.

It goes well with robust first courses, all meat-based dishes and aged cheeses.
