The red Abatemasi of the Produttori di Manduria winery comes from Negroamaro grapes, powerful and fleshy and with a hint of Primitivo. A typically Apulian wine that can be easily tasted.

Abatemasi is made up of 90% of Negroamaro grapes and the remainder of Primitivo, two typically very flourishing vines in Puglia.
The harvest takes place around the second half of September, while the vinification is in red with thermoconditioning of the fermentation process with two weeks of maceration. Finally, its refinement lasts 12 months in French oak barriques.
Compact ruby red color. Its aromas are accompanied by fans of vanilla and cinnamon, red rose and violet, dark chocolate and humus. Puffs of ripe cherry and blackcurrant compote embrace hints of walnut husk. On the palate it is warm and soft, with smooth and fine tannins. Beautiful persistence.
To be paired with duck breast lacquered with honey and spices, chickpea soup, baked lamb and grilled meats in general.
