Product Details

This is one of those wines that certainly do not go unnoticed. Starting from its bottle, beautiful, transparent, with a stylized coral to decorate the front. Aka Charme, Rosé Spumante Brut, proposed by Produttori di Manduria, is a Charmat Method, therefore a bubble made in autoclave, which allows us to confirm once more the versatile nature of Primitivo grape, capable of giving us full bodied reds, complex, but also rosé wines of great pleasure, still or, as in this case, sparkling wine. As it is easy to guess from the name of the vine, the time of harvest comes soon, already towards the middle of August. Vinification in white, for the base, after pressing, the must is gently rose towards the primary fermentation, in temperature controlled steel tanks. It is then aged on its fine lees, at least until the end of October. The wine is then transferred to the tank, where secondary fermentation takes place, and the subsequent aging on the lees, for a total period of about 120 days. Bright and intense rosy color, this sparkling wine is characterized by a fine and elegant perlage. The nose shows a good intensity. Hints of small red fruits accompanied by floral notes of rose, bread crust and yeast. In the mouth, thanks to the pleasing effervescence and an excellent acidity, it is particularly fresh and lively, rightly soft, balanced and fragrant. Perfect as an aperitif, it goes well with raw shrimp and prawns. For those looking for a wedding of greater "substance", this Aka Charme is also perfect with the classic eggplant parmigiana.
