Five Roses Anniversario I.G.T. 75 cl Leone de Castris

Five Roses symbol of rose wines in Italy and in the world.

It was the first rosé wine to be bottled and marketed in Italy as far back as 1943, just during the Second World War this undisputed symbol was born.

Produced from Negroamaro grapes (together with the primitivo are the symbol of Salento) and black Malvasia di Lecce from the vineyards owned by the company located in the territory of Salice Salentino (Lecce).

After a soft de-stemming, the grapes are subjected to skin maceration for a few hours.

Then the must is extracted (about 35%) and the subsequent fermentation at controlled temperature (18-20 ° C).

Five Roses is characterized by a transparent vermilion color. It has a clean, fruity, pleasing and fine bouquet. On the palate it releases a full taste, velvety, warm and harmonious taste. To be served at a temperature of 10 ° C.
