Susumaniello Lemos is a red wine from the Salento area that conquers for its fruity freshness and Mediterranean imprint.

Lemos by Leone De Castris gives voice to the Susumaniello vine, often overshadowed by the best known of the area, but no less pleasant, in fact it can be said that Susumaniello has a great personality.
The Susumaniello vineyards are about 10 years old and are cultivated according to the ancient Apulian sapling tradition. At the end of the classic fermentation in steel vats at a controlled temperature, with maceration on the skins for a couple of weeks, the wine matures for a couple of months in steel tanks before being bottled.
In the glass it has an intense purple red color. The nose is rich, with aromas of small dark poop fruits, currant, cherry, blueberry, aromas of herbs from the Mediterranean scrub, licorice root and delicate floral nuances. On the palate it is medium-bodied, with fragrant and juicy, ripe and soft aromas, a fine tannic texture and a pleasantly fresh finish.
It is a perfect red to combine with first courses with meat sauce, roasted white meats or grilled meats.
