Paolo Leo's Primitivo di Manduria Giunonico is a particularly rich, intense and structured version of this famous southern wine. It is a perfect wine for those who especially love power and concentration.

The vines used for the production of the Reserve are over 70 years old and are still grown according to the ancient sapling method. The cellar, while working in a modern way, inspires its wines to the great tradition of the territory, trying to bring the aromas and flavors of the land of Salento into the glass in a straightforward and direct way.

In the glass it has a rather dark garnet red dress. The bouquet expresses mature and ample aromas of small dark berry fruits, red fruit jam, toasted notes, hints of sweet spices and blond tobacco. The sip is broad, warm, soft and persuasive, with sweet and persistent aromas and a subtle and caressing tannic texture. The finish is long and harmonious, with a delicately spicy finish.

A red wine that goes well with fine meats such as venison and wild boar. Combined with stewed lamb and spiced roast beef it becomes an exaltation of maximum pleasure. Stuffed peppers and aubergine rolls are a great curiosity from the vegetable dish.
