San Marzano Cantine

From 100% Negroamaro grapes grown in Salento, this rosé wine from Cantine San Marzano is born.

With a beautiful bright pink color with ruby ​​reflections, it has strong aromas of cherry, rose and pomegranate. In the mouth it shows a good body, while remaining fresh and balanced.

Alcoholic content: 12.5% ​​vol.

Grape variety: Negroamaro.

Area: San Marzano, Salento, Puglia.

Soil: Medium-textured clayey, shallow and with a good presence of skeleton.

Cultivation: Espalier (5,000 vines per hectare).

Harvest: Second ten days of September.

Vinification: A soft cold pressing of the grapes is carried out on one part of the mass, while the remaining part is drained of the must after 12-24 hours from the start of maceration. The musts thus obtained are combined and fermented in steel at 11 ° C with selected yeasts.

Aging: In steel.

Pairings: Italian-style appetizers, fish soups, baked or baked fish, young or slightly aged cheeses.
