This wine is the fruit of an ancient passion. Obtained from the pressing of noble Nero di Troia grapes grown between the hills and the sea, in an environment where nature has given beauty and warmth.
The Nero di Troia grapes are harvested by hand, during the early hours of the morning to keep the grape temperatures low, and to avoid the onset of fermentation. After the malolactic fermentation it is left to refine for the most part in oak barrels for eight months, then the refinement in the bottle gives the final harmony and ample pleasure.
With an intense ruby red color, it has aromas of black berry fruit with successive tones of cocoa, cinnamon, cumin and juniper. In the mouth it is enveloping, full, full-bodied, rightly tannic, with already softened and velvety tones and a balanced finish.
Wine suitable for foods rich in flavors, spicy first courses, grilled or roasted red meats, game, cheeses and cured meats. Excellent on rabbit saddle with rosemary sauce.
