The Aglianico of the Cantina di Venosa dedicates the name of this wine to Prince Carlo Gesualdo da Venosa, passionate about hunting and a great supporter of the typical wine of his land.
The selection of Aglianico grapes takes place by hand, during the early hours of the morning. Vinification in horizontal rotary fermenters and skin maceration at a controlled temperature. Upon completion of the alcoholic and malolactic fermentation in stainless steel tanks and immediate transfer to French oak barrels and 50% bottled with wine aged in stainless steel tanks. It is marketed at least 4 months after bottling.
Deep and impenetrable purple red color. Vinous and intoxicating bouquet with clear hints of ripe black fruits and spices. Dry, full and sensory flavor of volcanic nature, slightly tannic, dense and velvety.
An ideal wine for the whole meal, especially with land dishes. To love with the dishes you love.
