It was September 28, 2020 when Ca' del Bosco presented to the world the Cuvée Prestige Edition 42, that is the forty-second interpretation of the multivintage which, every year, will follow a new edition, in increasing numbers (we have arrived at 44). An important step that arises from the need to offer fans the opportunity to scan the different shades of each Edition of Cuvée Prestige being able to reveal, year after year, the link between nature and the style of Ca' del Bosco. Cuvée Prestige Edition is the expression of the essence of the different terroirs of Franciacorta, unique as unique is the great heritage that this denomination has been able to build and enhance, a fresh, fragrant and complex bubbles, consisting of 139 wines from 141 parcels and 4 different vintages from the company’s inimitable reserve wine collection. With an aging of at least 24 months on the lees and a dosage of Extra Brut, this new face of the Cuvée Prestige is a pride and a pride, made to print in the minds of wine lovers the nuances of each vintage.
Sparkling gold thanks to the fine bubbles that run through it, it smells of ripe fruit, citrus and caramelized almond, brioche bread, vanilla butter and chalk. The taste is fresh and satisfying, balanced, moderately savory and with mineral persistence.
Excellent as an aperitif, it has the ability to hold a whole meal of fish, but also with delicate white meat and sauces.
