Product Details

Barbaresco di Prunotto is a traditional, full-bodied and austere expression. An unmistakable wine thanks to the Nebbiola vineyard from which it comes.

The production process involves maceration on the skins for about 10 days during alcoholic fermentation. At the end of the malolactic fermentation, the wine is left to mature for 12 months in large oak barrels of different capacities, then bottled and aged for another 12 months.

Bright garnet color, it smells of ripe dark fruit and mint, juniper, violet, tobacco and leather. The taste is tight and compact, with full body and sustained tannic texture. Long and persistent in the finish, where spicy sensations return.

Perfect in combination with red meats, game and game. It is excellent with white truffle noodles and beef stew with potatoes.
