Product Details

The Cantina di Schola Sarmenti offers Antieri, a Susumaniello red produced from young vineyards cultivated with the espalier and Guyout technique.

The grapes are harvested by hand in the second and third decade of September. Then we proceed with the manual selection on a sorting table, to allow only the best bunches to contribute to the production of this great quality wine. Then follow the phases of maceration and fermentation at controlled temperature carried out in stainless steel vats. Aged in French oak barrels

In the glass it shows an intense and impenetrable ruby red color. A wine that knows how to be strong but gracefully, managing to impress with its complex and delicate aromas. It has fruity and spicy notes in which blackberries, ripe cherries, black pepper, vanilla and cloves stand out. In the mouth it ends with a very long persistence in the mouth.

This red goes perfectly with first courses of land and dishes of the Apulian cuisine, second courses of red meat and game, braised.
