The Tormaresca winery with its Negroamaro vineyards gives life to red wine where personality is combined with pleasure.
The clusters of Negroamaro from vines cultivated with sapling are left to slightly over-ripen and are harvested in the third week of September; the fermentation takes place in steel, at a controlled temperature between 26 and 28 degrees and then, after racking, the wine is transferred to French and Hungarian oak barrels, where it remains to refine for about 12 months; after bottling, the wine remains in the glass to mature for a further year.
It colors the glass with an intense ruby red, the nose expresses beautiful floral notes of violets and roses, fruity notes of black cherry and mulberry, spiced with licorice and cloves. On the palate it is rich, dry, characterized by an incisive tannic texture and well integrated with the taste. Full, it closes with a finish of good persistence on the fruit.
Ideal for the whole meal, it goes well with grilled meats and aged cheeses.
