Product Details

The first labels named Lallier date back to 1906, the year in which René Lallier founded his Maison in the heart of the village of Aÿ, a beautiful house surrounded by vineyards and the vineyard is the backbone of the Maison’s experience: 16 hectares of property, which provide 15% of the annual production, while the rest comes from external contractors of Reims and the Côte des Blancs. There are two grapes cultivated by Lallier: Pinot Noir and Chardonnay, the two most noble vines, present, for Brut R.019 in almost equal parts. Aged for at least 36 months on the lees, like all the labels of Maison Lallier, this Brut is made up of 88% of 2019 vintage wines and the remaining 12% of reserve wines, respectively of 2012 and 2018 vintages. Amazing!

Bright golden yellow color with reflections reminiscent of copper, reveals a very thin and fine perlage. The aroma is really seductive and complex, it speaks of medlar, apricot and ripe yellow peach, toasted almonds and vanilla, with generous balsamic nuances. The taste is full-bodied and, at the same time, silky and balanced, very convincing in the return of yellow plum and the long finish that is divided between caramel and mineral trail.

For a chic foie-gras aperitif, it is also delicious with a chicken salad or with a platter of mixed cheeses, from soft to medium-aged.
