The Nose: it is complete and fickle, an interweaving of flowers and fruits, followed by the union of vegetable and mineral notes. The bouquet is tactile, a discreet invitation to follow the powdery trail of white flowers, surrounded by the sweetness of apricot and mirabella, and then arrive at the freshness of rhubarb and mint, up to the minerality of ash. White pepper.
The Palate: It is the energy that dominates the palate. After a pleasant opening, the wine quickly becomes vibrant and then literally explodes. The effervescence is rampant, the feeling is toned. The finish, which converges on sour and bitter notes, narrows and becomes penetrating, leaving its imprint, distinguished by ginger, tobacco and toasted aromas.

2013 was a year in which the variable and difficult climatic conditions had an important impact on the vineyard. Winter was marked by frosts. In the spring, frost, heavy rains, hail storms and a sudden drop in temperature during flowering followed. The hot and dry summer weather, especially in August, was optimal for the ripening of the grapes. The grapes harvested between 10 and 26 September showed a perfect balance between tension, freshness and richness. Despite the low yields, 2012 is an excellent vintage of champagne.
