Aglianico del Vulture Pipoli, comes from selected vineyards, whose grapes are harvested by hand. Following a careful selection, they are pressed separately. Then they are started to ferment by raising the temperature. Aging: 60% is in steel and 40% of the wine takes place permanently in second passage barriques for 10 months. A further three months in the bottle complete the maturation process.
In the glass it has a deep red color with violet reflections, the nose expresses a strong aromatic integrity in which there are evident notes of cherry and morello cherry combined with spicy and vanilla notes. The taste is characterized by a good structure, a long and balsamic finish, ripe tannins and a persistent aftertaste.
On the table it goes well with all meat dishes and aged cheeses.
