Falkenstein Sauvignon bianco 2018

Falkenstein's Sauvignon is a South Tyrolean white wine that is characterized by two salient aspects, which captivate during the tasting phase. First of all the aromas, complex on the nose and endowed with a decidedly varied panorama of notes; then for its brilliant freshness, which accompanies the sip, emerging above all in the aftertaste, leaving a notable impression on the palate. A bottle in which the Sauvignon grape is able to express itself on excellent quality levels, recognized by all fans of this international vine.

This Sauvignon originates from the same grapes, grown in purity by the Falkenstein winery at an altitude of more than 600 meters, in a small parcel just over one hectare. The bunches are harvested by hand during the harvest at the end of September, and after the destemming the grapes are pressed. The must obtained from this operation ferments in acacia barrels. Refinement lasts for 10 months, a period during which the wine remains in wood on the fine lees; after bottling it continues with a further period of maturation of 10 months directly in the bottle. It then ends with the bottling and marketing operations.

The white wine Sauvignon made by the Falkenstein winery shows a straw yellow color upon visual examination, crossed by light reflections more tending to greenish in the nail.
