Product Details

Through a great harvest, the Cantina di Venosa gives rise to the Matematico red. Selection of Merlot and Aglianico grapes, harvested by hand in the early hours of the morning and immediately transported to the cellars. Ages in French Barriques for about six months.

It dresses the glass in a beautiful intense ruby red. The nose reveals a complex and deep olfactory bouquet, where the hints of ripe dark fruit, such as raspberry, morello cherry, dried plum and cherry, are enriched by vanilla, white pepper and tobacco tertiaries. The palate is soft and full-bodied, warm and enveloping, fine and elegant in the tannic texture, balanced and with a long persistence.

Ideal as a combination with roasts, first courses typical of Mediterranean cuisine, game and aged cheeses.
