Don Papa Rum 10 Years

The 10 Years Rum signed by the Don Papa distillery comes with a business card made of concentrated aromas and flavors. This is thanks to the refinement, carried out for 10 years in barrels already used for the maturation of the American Bourbon, and to the great quality of the raw material: sugar cane.

Molasses is obtained from this plant which is then distilled thanks to column stills. At the end of the manufacturing process the Rum is left to rest for 10 years in toasted barrels that once contained Bourbon, and during this period the hot-humid climate evaporates an alcoholic part of the total mass.

The 10 year old Don Papa reveals itself upon visual examination with a decidedly dark and concentrated amber color. On the nose there are complex and layered hints, which recall notes of sweet spices such as vanilla, alternating with touches of tropical fruit and nuances of chocolate. Perfect to give to all friends who are passionate about Rum.
