Carato Venusio is the son of the Aglianico del Vulture vine from the Cantine di Venosa, aged in barrique. A perfect red to age.
Well structured and elegant wine that presents: intense ruby red color with light garnet reflections. Vinous and personal bouquet with delicate scent of dried violet, currant, ripe black fruit (blueberry, blackberry), licorice. Hint of incense on the finish. On the palate velvety tannic texture in a full-bodied and austere sip, but very fine and elegant. Good freshness.
A typical red that perfectly enhances roasted red meats, game, strong dishes and aged hard cheeses. We suggest uncorking at least an hour before and serving at 18 ° - 20 ° C.
