Don Anselmo is an Aglianico del Vulture produced in memory of the founding grandfather of the Paternoster winery, a unique red for its finesse, austerity and longevity. It has great elegance and with complex and persistent notes of ripe fruit and spices.

Paternoster's Aglianico del Vulture "Don Anselmo" is one of those wines that tell the story of a territory, the story of a company, the story of a family.
Red vinified in steel and then left to mature in large Slavonian oak barrels for 50% and in French barriques for the remaining 50%, a period followed by a further refinement in the bottle for 12 months.
Deep ruby red, almost impenetrable, on the nose it expresses a large and complex bouquet, characterized by unmistakable sulphurous notes, currant, blueberry, cocoa, leather and sweet spices. On the palate it is warm, dry, with great structure and elegance.
Throughout the meal, it goes well with rich roast meat preparations. Also excellent at the end of a meal, for conversation.
