Ottagono Nero di troia Riserva Castel del Monte D.O.C.G. Torrevento

Inspired by the famous Castel Del Monte in Andria, this wine takes the name of Ottagono obtaining the first DOCG Nero di Troia Castel del Monte in 2014. It is produced by a historic company, that of Torrevento founded in 1920 and now owning two hundred hectares vineyards. The octagon has a ruby red color and the nose is a mix of small red fruits in jam accompanied by hints of wild thyme and licorice. In the mouth it leaves a light savory trail with a very long finish on fruit tones.

Throughout the meal, "l'Ottagono" is a red wine that goes well with refined meat dishes, even on the grill.
