Rum Jamaica is aged for 5 years in oak barrels, completing its long aging process with a stop in barrels previously used for the great Oloroso di Jerez wines. Precisely this final touch allows the Rum to acquire that softness and aromatic complexity that characterizes the sip and enriches its charm.
This Rum is produced in Jamaica with top quality sugar cane molasses and distilled according to the great Caribbean tradition.
Its visual appearance is dark gold, with apricot undertones. The smell of this Rum is deep, balsamic, with notes of camphor and the typical Jamaican "funk" ester. Brown sugar, some fermented and vinous notes.
Its taste recalls the sense of smell, but with notes of wood resin, pine needles, black pepper and a pinch of flour. There is an underlying sweetness, but the overall impression is dry and spicy. Raisins, old wood. With a warm, peppery and lively finish.
