Here the great artist is Nature and every year we are the interpreters of what he wants to give us. Our job is to take part in this choreography between Man and Nature to reveal the great terroirs of Champagne'. These are the words used by Frédéric Rouzaud, president of Louis Roederer, when he talks about his Maison, creator of extraordinary wines for over two centuries. The birth of a great Champagne requires patience, moderation and slow rhythms but, above all, listening to Nature to enter into intimacy with it and grasp every beat: only in this way a great Cuvée is born. This vintage is composed of 60% Pinot Noir and 40% Chardonnay, from 45 different plots between the Montagne de Reims, the Côte de Blancs and Rivière; a classic Cristal, chalky and powerful, in which freshness and complexity have been forged by time.

Intense golden yellow color with brilliant reflections, has dense and extremely lively bubbles that bring to the nose fresh fruity hints of citrus, candied lemon peel and flowers, chamomile, honey and toasted hazelnuts. After a few minutes vanilla tones rise, pastry and refoli slightly smoked. The taste shows elegance, power and concentration, in perfect balance between freshness, sapidity and softness of the fruit, drawing an aromatic precision, in the memories of the nose, perfectly aligned. Mature, powerful and complex, it wraps with the typical 100% Cristal.

It goes perfectly with refined dishes of white fish, shellfish and caviar, sauced white meat and medium-aged cheeses.
