Gariga Amaro di Murgia 20cl

Amaro Garìga di Murgia is a delicately bitter digestive elixir, composed of 43 herbs, almost totally wild, coming from the vast territories of the Alta Murgia of Bari and other unspoilt places nearby; the herbs are harvested by hand from early spring until early summer, in their right balsamic period; it is very important that the herbs are used fresh and processed in the same day: where necessary, some of them undergo a preliminary crushing in an old stone mortar and then are placed to macerate cold in pure alcohol, each of them in a different glass demijohn. When all the herbs have reached the right degree of maceration, the alcoholic essence is separated, while the herbs are pressed and the additional mother essence obtained is mixed together with all 43 essences.
