Bowmore Islay Single Malt Scotch Whisky 12 Years 70cl (Astucciato)

The Bowmore Distillery has its origins in 1779, on the shores of Lake Indaal, and was one of the first legal distilleries on the island as well as being the only one managed by the owner, which for those times was considered an exception. The Bowmore 12 Y.O. embodies the soul of this distillery, the windblown landscapes and the long tradition. The geographical position, in the middle of the island, also affects the characteristics of this whisky, so as to be a middle way between the intense singles of the southern shores and the thinner ones produced in the north. With its peaty and rich flavor has a soft aftertaste and a long persistence; an excellent scotch of Islay recommended for all those who try for the first time this type of whisky.

With an amber color in good evidence, it is enhanced with a subtle and very floral bouquet, with notes of lemon, honey and vanilla that balance the typical turbulence. The taste is deep, warm, soft, with smoky and salty sensations that blend with sweeter aromas. The finish is long and persistent.

We recommend it with the addition of a few drops of cold water to fully enjoy its scents and flavor.
