Inspired by the Alìe sea nymphs, this rosé wine is a symbol of sensuality and beauty. It is made in the Flagship estate of Frescobaldi, near the sea, from which the Alìe draws its mineral accents.
It comes from a blend of Syrah and Vermentino grapes, pressed whole with a high degree of softness and in the absence of oxygen. The must ferments in stainless steel at a temperature below 20 ºC. It ages for a few months on the lees and then for a few months in the bottle.
It has a light cerasuolo pink color, enriched by slight ruby reflections. The nose offers a compendium of the characteristic aromatic traits of the two starting varieties, with hints of white flowers and wild strawberries, surrounded by citrus peel and widespread minerality. The mouthfeel is charming, fine and intriguing, with a pleasantly rich and long finish.
Excellent as an aperitif, it is the right wine for an evening for two.
