The bitter Jefferson comes from Calabria and comes from an ancient recipe created in 1871 by a unique and fascinating character, Captain Jefferson, who survived the shipwreck in the waters between Paola and Tropea, found refuge in the Old Customs Warehouse, there where he had his enlightenment: the use of a mix of botanical herbs and spices of that land to give life to the recipe of a unique and natural bitter. The freshness of the raw material, harvested in flower and processed as it once was, results in the high quality of Amaro Jefferson, whose Mediterranean taste is appreciated at room or cold temperature, but also in mixing for the preparation of original cocktails.
